Make sure to sign up to receive your 42¢ from the $181 million settlement and don't spend it all in one place.

frayedendsThere are no details on woody chicken breast. I have fallen victim to that nasty stuff. Chicken breasts aren’t supposed to be the size of Turkey breast. I deserve my 42 cents for sure.
ETA: wife just said, “Don’t be a chicken! Go get your money!!”
I find that particularly funny at the moment.
These go to eleven.

OKCGeneYeah I got a letter in the mail a few days from some law firm.
And by the way, referring to the woody chicken breast: 3 or 4 times since the 1st of the year I've purchased boneless skinless chicken breast that looked fine and smelled fine, but was impossible to eat. It was just a weird texture that you could not chew up.

bigwagonNot chicken, but this week we actually got paid about 30 bucks for some class action lawsuit involving price-fixing for milk. My wife signed up for it a few years ago and we just finally got a notification email that our "claims" were approved. Got paid via Amazon gift card. LOL

parabellumI don't even know how to answer the question. I guess I've been overcharged for chicken. I didn't realize I should care, 'cause I like chicken.
It's not as if I got a bill from the Colonel for 600 bucks.
Am I owed something? I just don't know. I think I'd rather have the chicken.

It’s a real thing. I’ve run into quite a few times. It’s almost like it hasn’t been cooked enough even though it has. Tough sort of rubbery. Stay away from the breasts with white lines that are extra large. Chicken breasts should be pinkish uniform color and fairly small. Here’s some info on the issue.

joatmonvYes and beef and pork also.
I just increased my per pound price by 15¢ across the board. I have some unhappy customers right now but I had to.

mod29I've been overcharged for pretty much everything lately.

LS1 GTOSome how the idea of being overcharged for big breasts seems like a win-win situation.
But that's just me.

Balzé HalzéMy wife buys that organic chicken from Whole Paycheck that is sometimes $6.99/pound. Have I been overcharged for chicken? What do you think!?

This, I too have gotten woody chicken breasts a few times and the white lines were in most of them. The extra large breasts are from egg laying chickens that passed their day and sent to market I think. Also nasty.

architectMy advice? Don't ever discuss the subject of chicken breasts with a woman, it might not work out as well as you'd like.
