I was listening to Clay and Buck yesterday and it was intimated that leakers had spilled information on where the targets were that would be struck in the Mid East. Supposedly the fine folks manning these places evacuated so very little personnel damage was actually done. If true, by my notion this borders on treason. Has anyone else heard this or know if it can be confirmed? Can anything be done to these pieces of crap if they did release this information?

Yes, they were talking about it on Cavuto this morning. And the BBC was talking about it yesterday.

S2 Underground reported that the bombers left their transceivers on. They really didn’t want any Iranians to get hurt.

This is the only reference I could find to "leaks" at the BBC, and it makes it seem intentional. Though it's from an Iranian, so who knows whether it's accurate or just Iran trying to downplay things.

But it's entirely plausible that the US may have deliberately telegraphed their intentions ahead of time, in order to take out infrastructure and equipment and decrease some of their capabilities while at the same time not running the risk of killing off any high-ranking Iranians that could have led to an escalation into wider hostilities.

From https://www.bbc.com/news/live/...nned_post_type=share

quote:
Iran expert suggests 'everybody was already prepared' for US strikes

Hamidreza Azizi, an Iran expert and a former lecturer of regional studies at the University of Tehran, has been speaking to our colleagues on the BBC World Service's Weekend programme about the possible impact of the US strikes overnight.

"As far as I could tell, the Iraqis had been informed [of the attacks] beforehand," he says.

Azizi also notes that preparations had been "going on for days", including "deliberate leaks to the media about the scope and geographical focus of the attacks".

Azizi adds that in the past few days, Iran had redeployed some of it's high ranking Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps officers from Syria back to the border areas between Iran and Iraq "to keep them safe".

"The attacks were mainly targeted at the facilities and infrastructure, as far as I know," Azizi says.

If it was on the Lame stream media, it was intentional.

They (the White House, Karine, etc.) were telling the whole world what they were going to do, for 2 or 3 DAYS prior to the strikes, on the damn evening news! Tactical/strategic decision not to kill any important Bad Guys to avoid escalation? Bullshit. Obama told Joe not to hurt any of his asshole buddies.

I can imagine that old Joe or rather those pulling the strings purposely leaked the attack as part of a back-room agreement with the enemy.
Sure that is a conspiratorial comment but it does make sense.

I'd bet the actual cost, amount of fuel used and number of people involved would be mind boggling.

All for the impression of strength with meaningless results. Any compassion or leniency towards the Iranian Government and their proxies is wasted.

We are in the run up to the presidential election; these strikes smacked of posturing by an administration with the lowest approval rating of any president ever. I am certain it was all kabuki theatre by these assholes, especially when I heard the extremely low casualty numbers.

We always do that. In the days leading from Desert Shield to Desert Storm, we all but gave them the exact date and time. I remember watching cable news and the anchor talking about how bad the weather was one particular night that the WH gave. About how much better the weather was going to be the next night. Next night the air strikes started.
