Anyone have recall issue with a Tocoma 4wd recently?

I thought it was for the rear diff?

They are weeping fluid and if too much leaves, well a hot seized up rear end on the freeway is a bad time.

From what I understood, there was improper torque on the diff cover. Some people took that into their own hands and ended up snapping off studs. So found out there is a metal problem with the studs too.

People are going in for regular service and having to leave their trucks because of the recall with no time frame on a fix. Cant trade it in either because of it.
