I'm pretty fastidious about making sure I read the fine print and don't get caught paying anything for apps when I don't purposely press the button knowing I'm making an "in app purchase." I downloaded a QR code/bar code reader and found out it was charging me $49.99/yr for it's "premium" version of the app! Also paying $7.99/wk for one other game that I played exactly once. Here are the mistakes I made: - My appleID is an old email address that I do not check unless I'm expecting something (like I ordered something from the apple store to check tracking). Here is what I did to correct those mistakes: - I changed my appleID to an email I check regularly so that any purchases based on my appleID can be seen in my inbox easily. - I normally don't pay too much attention to activity on my bank account but my debit card is linked to my AppleID, so I check now for any "itunes" purchases. There is a way to check your "subscriptions" but the process is very unfriendly. I stumbled across this while upgrading my Hulu subscription to commercial free. In the FAQs I found this link: https://help.hulu.com/en-us/ma...-billed-subscription It rolls to logging into the appleID maintenance page. There you can view all of your subscriptions. Ironically, there is a section in settings in iOS to view subscriptions but I could not find the button to actually show me the subs; it only let me see after clicking the link from the hulu page. I have an AppleTV and can see any subscription service I subscribe to on this page. The real irony is I was just re-upped for the of QR code reader premium for $49 in September... Yay...
