A lot of people like the new Nexbelt.

I have one and it’s ok, but it’s no where near as rigid as a good leather belt. I find that anything bigger than my 43X seems to drag it down. YMMV

Just idly perusing their belts, they would appear to have belts that are specifically "gun belts." Is that what you have?

Yes, it’s one of their EDC gun belts, purchased at the NRA Personal Protection Expo in Fort Worth last year. Here it is with my P2000. Still more stiff than a stnadard belt but less so than any of my leather gun belts. The Wilderness Tactical (which I also have) is better.

Sorry about the orientation, Photobucket is having issues.

Couldn't determine if this was just a belt or a duty belt. I recently purchased one of these:

and found it to be VERY comfortable, although a bit weak supporting an expandable baton!

I have worn a 1.75 wilderness belt daily for the last 7yrs. Great belt and holding up well.

Hmmm... That doesn't look very thick.

Check out the Mozeto tactical riggers belt ( 1 1/2 inch ) with a modified cobra style buckle where one side is 1 3/8 wide (single thickness) which allows passing thru belt loops without removing buckle to put on. loose end has velcro closure. found on Amazon prime for less than $20.00. wear either a kydex IWB or OWB leather carrying a G-19 and extra mag. very comfortable . This setup works for me . ...........drill sgt.

They claim their EDC line to be about 3/16” thick. My calipers only measure that thickness for the portion that has the engagement strip.

I’ve worn a 5.11 belt for around a decade.

Black goes with everything, plus I wear my shirts untucked so it doesn’t scream tactical.

The belt is stiff enough to wear an OTB holster and support a fully loaded G19, two mag pouch and cuffs.....I wore this when I was in regular clothing or in a special detail.

Currently wear an ITB holster and always wear shirts untucked.

I own 3 different colors of Wilderness 3 stitch Instructor belts. I wear the black one the most as my usual work wear is jeans. I usually wear cargo's when I shoot a class. My tan belt works with khakis. Like holsters, I've tried a bunch including the Armour belts. Like VMII holsters, I've found no better belt than the Wilderness.

I don't know about the nylon Nexbelts, but my leather one is stiff. It has a polymer insert the full length of the belt. I would imagine the nylon ones do also. I would prefer my thick leather belts, but the Nexbelt is much more adjustable.

I really like Volund Gearworks belts, especially the G-Hook buckle version.

I've been wearing a Graith Specialist belt for nigh two years now nearly every time I'm not at work (where I can't carry).

Nice and rigid, lightweight and I really like the buckle-less design.

I love my Wilderness belts. I got the titanium buckle and I love to fly with it since it doesn't set off the metal detectors. I use the CSM, makes the belt quite stiff and secure.

I have two 1 1/2" Wilderness 5 stitch belts, a black & a tan, and I've been wearing one or the other daily for at least ten years. When the velcro eventually got to the point that it wouldn't hold anymore, I called Wilderness & they replaced it for the price of shipping.

Got tired of other belts I have with buckles either printing or in the way of AIWB carry.

I have also used their 3 and 5 stitch when first carrying lighter pistols (PPS, G43), but the CSM / polymer insert lined is far superior for weight bearing and secure feel, with no added bulk.

I have one for my specific fit for carrying a pistol (measured length) and one of their 'easy fit', which works better for carrying with and without sometimes (more adjustment of length available, but also more tongue) when flying.

This works for me..

I have a 3 stitch Wilderness Frequent Flyer Belt I wear daily to work that holds a Leatherman FREE P2 and Nitecore P05 flashlight.
The Frequent Flyer has a polymer buckle that doesn't set off the metal detectors I have to walk through in and out of work.

I have a 5 stitch Original Instructor Belt that I wear when I carry anything OWB or even when I don't carry a firearm on my belt.
It is my go to belt when wearing jeans or cargo shorts with an untucked shirt...

Yes, they are "trimable" but let me save you from that experience. I bought one for use with dress pants but when I cut it to length I see the core appears to be Chinese cardboard.

I have a 5.11 Tactical 1 .5" Double-Duty TDU Belt that's reversible--black and coyote. The nature of the buckle makes it a bit tricky to get it as tight as you might like.

Which is why I almost never wear mine. Such a pain to get right. I wear their rigger belt as it is easier to tighten down. The Velcro is dying on it so I need a new belt.

Anyone know if the Kore Essentials or NexBelt are made in the states?

I used a milt sparks leather belt for years and thought it was the best thing.

I got a Kore and realized that while leather is good, tested over time, the New design of kore is better.

I then went and got the non leather version and they are just as good.

Fully trim able, reliable and stylish.

I now have 3 kore belts with 5 buckles and it is about the same cost of my leather belt.

I have a few of the Wilderness Instructors belts that are my "everyday " belts. I only use my leather belts ffg or dress/semi dress.

I have used the Wilderness belts for years. I have been very happy with them.
