I'm in to help, either way.

If the Neo, Apple offers a Veteran discount. I'm already registered for that, if it helps. No-cost shipping (with gift option), direct from Apple.

I would agree with (and contribute to) the Neo. One thing to consider is that the Neo does not have a backlit keyboard.

Just sent a response to your email Artie.

“Our actions may be impeded...
But there can be no impeding our intentions or our dispositions. Because we can accommodate and adapt. The mind adapts and converts to its own purposes the obstacle to our acting.

The impeding to action advances action.

What stands in the way becomes the way.”

I will be talking with Drill Stg.'s Daughter a little later this morning to find out what his needs are.

My bank has Zelle, but I’ve not used it before. I’m thinking it requires a cell phone number or an email address for the recipient. Correct? If so, which is the better method?

I’ve never used Zelle before, but I think I have it set up now. So the procedure is to send money via Zelle to the email address in Artie’s Member Profile?

Ask/get confirmation from him if that’s the same email he uses for Zelle. If not, you might be sending money to nowhere.

Sometimes, people have the same email for several purposes, but many times they have different emails for different uses, so it’s always best to ask and not assume.

^^^ Unless the person wants to publicly announce it, I’d say, that’s the question you should be asking privately. Personally, I wouldn’t announce on the forum what my PP address is, or what my Zelle number/email are.

Drill Sgt. was net control on our local 2m ham net last night. It was great to hear him able to be back on the radio.

Sorry. Had wild week. Purchased will most likely be a 15 inch HP Laptop which is a direct replacement for the machine that died.

I should be able to start collections this weekend.

More to follow.

Thanks all.

Judging by the time of your response I can believe it!
