I haven't done anymore. Members here have offered to help out with something for him. But I'm a dummy when it comes to this type of thing. I've donated to other members on here but I have no clue how to do it. I'm not a financial person at all. I really just wanted members to know why they hadn't heard from him if they were wondering.
I talk to him everyday on the ham radio or phone. Before he went into the hospital I would go by take him something to eat that I knew he liked. But that had to end I don't know what happened but he hasn't been able to eat since the surgery. He's still feeding himself with a tube in his stomach. We are praying he can start eating again because we love our Louisiana food.

Charlie, next time you talk to him, please ask him if he’s got internet service and if he would be interested in having an ipad or tablet so he can participate with us here.

He did have fiber that they hooked up to when his granddaughter stayed there so she could do her computer work. She went back to her home. I'll have to ask him if he still has it.

I just checked with his daughter. She said he still has fiber. She said his laptop was a old 15" and he would probably want a laptop.

I know it's not a Iphone. I went the hospital to take him a charger when he was there. I didn't really look at it since I took a Iphone charger and he told me it wasn't that.

I have heard from Charlie12, and DrillSgt. could use a new computer. His wife is ill as well, but both are home.

DrillSgt. does NOT know we are doing this.

I will email the profile address for everyone who hs indicated in this thread that they are willing to help.

Plan will be to send $ to my law firm, which I will deposit in my client funds account, and then I will either buy a machine for delivery to DrillSgt. or send a cashier's check to Charlie12 to handle locally. Still up in the air on that.

I can receive ACH, check, Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp.

My email is in profile, and I will reply to anyone who emails with my cell phone if you want to confirm that I am real.

Thank you to everyone who is willing to help a Member stay with us.

God bless.

A

ETA Timdogg6 has a Surface Pro (Microsoft Windows machine) that he has offered up. That may well be the answer. I will still email everyone.

I asked his daughter tonight what his old laptop is.
All she knew was that it was a HP and 15"

Artie,

Got your first email. Just advise on what’s needed. If someone had a donor computer or we buying one. Obviously not right this second, whenever all is sorted out.
