For cars, duct tape on the windows is probably the easiest and fastest.
Does that actually work, or are we looking at another fake Youtube hack?
I’m not sure the way it was described above, but enough duct tape or masking tape on a window and a ball peen hammer, the window is almost silent when broken. Doesn’t make much of a mess either.
That's what I thought originally, but this "hack" is all over Youtube. I just want to call bee-ess, but maybe there's some truth in there somewhere? Although even if it does work, what damage would you do to the window mechanism?
I would imagine it would at the very least, take the calibration of where the glass is at, out of whack.
Any modern auto with an auto up or auto down (one press up or one press down) has calibration as to where the window is at. It has to know when the window is all the way up or all the way down to stop the motor.
I would guess at the very least that it would screw that up, especially on the Tesla he just did that to.

As a follow-up, I picked up a set of Lishi picks, and with a few minutes of practice, I was able to get into every lock on my home and shop. I also got one for Master locks and have yet to find one that I can't open.
Pretty slick! And kind of scary knowing that if I can do it, so can any meth head in the valley who wants to get into my house.

I started lock picking by watching Bosnian Bill on YouTube. I work maintenance at a facility, and it comes in handy. I also suggest learning how to bypass latches in case the lock is jammed up and unpick-able.

Many Master locks you can open just by sticking the pick in them. lol Guys at work used to think I was amazing, opening all the Master locks on lockers and breaker panels.
Tomorrow is my last day as a locksmith. Which means I'll probably start doing it for fun again. I'll probably end up opening just as many locks at work as I always did.
