Good enough is neither
good, nor enough

I bought a pair of 2016 Kawasaki stx-15f’s. Got a deal at 7999 a piece new and they have been great so far. They go 67 mph and have enough power to pull skiers. They are an older design so the bugs have been worked out and not a bunch of bells and whistles to break. I would buy these again if I were to do it over again. Not familiar with the Yamaha’s.

There are 3 kinds of people, those that understand numbers and those that don't.

Holy smokes. I just looked that Yammy up and its amazing. Seats 3 and has a tow hook for skiing? Get outta here. (nothing against the Kawasaki, looks like a decent machine too)

I’ve got friends in the business and I was told to stick to the normally aspirated 1.8L versions and skip the supercharger.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

I'm hoping to look at some Kawasakis tomorrow. It's kind of looking like there are not many 17 models left to deal on.

Kawasaki's are old news and have failed to keep up with the times. Especially in ride. Given your location and use on the Indian River, ride is going to be important as the Indian River isn't exactly as calm as a lake is.

Sea Doo is the hot ticket right now and then Yamaha is behind them. A buddy of mine owns a fairly large repair shop in Fort Lauderdale called Mobile Motorcycle. If you want to give them a call, talk to William or Pablo and they'll give you the scoop on reliability and so forth. They're good friends with Tony Doukas that owns TDR, the manufacturer of a bunch of high performance parts for waverunners and Pablo used to work for him.
