Random overheard conversation at the VA this morning:

Listening to two Nam vets in the waiting room. One was talking about being captured and being a POW, the other was In an “8 man Recon team” and broke both legs when their chopper was shot down coming back from a mission.

Both Marines...the POW asked the other guy how old he was “74” I think he said.

the POW said, “well you’re still a fucking boot!”

I had to bite my lower lip to subdue my laugh.
