Its remarkable when you come across a segment of the population that is so dumb and ignorant that they're more apt to believe-in conspiracy theories with fully involved discussions, and made-up rationale, then actually understanding the situation. Much of it is willful ignorance but, a big chunk is outright stupidity; their intuitive development was stunted at middle school. Social media simply fans the flames of this. Ask most of these folks about banking, interest rates, investing...you'll get blank looks.

Over the weekend, I watched a movie called "Land Grab" that shows this exact thing.
