Its remarkable when you come across a segment of the population that is so dumb and ignorant that they're more apt to believe-in conspiracy theories with fully involved discussions, and made-up rationale, then actually understanding the situation. Much of it is willful ignorance but, a big chunk is outright stupidity; their intuitive development was stunted at middle school. Social media simply fans the flames of this. Ask most of these folks about banking, interest rates, investing...you'll get blank looks. |
