"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

This was January but it’s Ohio so no snow that day.

Snowy was rescued in January of 2011 from a freeway in the middle of a snowstorm. Some asshole(s) dropped him off next to a fence so he was stuck on the freeway. It’s been seven years but he still looks back at me when I let him outside in the snow. I always reassure him that I would never abandon him. He likes to do the circus dog thing of hopping so we always play circus music when he goes outside.

Not minority enough!

His fur looks frozen. I have to ask: was he not freezing?

Just the other day after bathing and drying them and letting them rest for a couple of hours, I let my less than 10 pound mini poodles out in their dog run. Soon as they got out, they started shivering. And this is maybe 50 - 60 degrees in California and sheltered from any wind.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

No. He was just covered in a light dusting from our traditional Utah champagne powder. As soon as he began playing it all fell off. He is also a long coat german shepherd so he loves the cold. here are some progression pictures...
