First Super Bowl in some time I’ve looked forward to.

Me too.
The Super Bowl isn't always between the two teams I think are the best. This year, I think the 49ers and the Chiefs are actually the two best teams. Should be a good game.
Go Chiefs!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I live in Missouri and definately a Chiefs fan and they are a fun team to watch.
Our son is sports anchor for WIBW/CBS in Topeka which is just a short distance from KC and he has covered the Chiefs this year. He was on the field for pregame and then in the booth for the game and back on the field and in dressing room after for interviews and got some really good footage.
Before the game Mahomes walked past him and kelt at the goal post and said a short prayer.

Looks like our son is going to the Super Bowl to cover that game too.

Summers,
That's really cool! Post some pics if you get a chance.

Kind of depressing for us Lions fans to keep seeing the reference to "50 years". We've never been to a Super Bowl.

But I'm still looking forward to what should be a great game!

Come on Chiefs! I have been waiting 41 years out of the 50 since the last one. Very excited!

He graduated from Mizzou with a Sports Journalism degree and Mizzou might be a liberal college but they have one of the best journalism schools in the Nation. He has been with CBS in Topeka since July and before that he spent 2 years with FOX in Abilene, TX when he got out of college.

I’ll share some of the pic’s he sends but will probably need his OK...since CBS is paying him they may own any pic’s or videos taken during games

SF has a strong defense that will be chasing Mahomes all day, plus an offense that will eat up the clock on the ground...it's not that JimmyG can't throw either, he's smart and will be waiting patiently...then BOOM ***AIR STRIKE!!***

Should be a high scoring game!!!

Despite the Cheif's, Andy Reid, aka the big choker. I think the talent on the team can compensate for him.

GO 49ER'S

Niners strategy, based upon what they did to the Pack, may resemble Super Bowl XXV
Time of possession

Buffalo 19:27
NY Giants 40:33

Parcells ran Anderson until there was no more time left on the clock and Buffalo's K-Gun offense sat on the bench.

Yes, I think the key to the game will be who can convert on third & 1 consistently, Mahomes or Mostert? Whichever team can control third down...controls the ball. Which coach is willing to take the bigger risk Reid or Shanahan? Unfortunately for Reid the pressure on him is ten fold to "bring home the bacon" compared to Shanahan to win the first SB in FIFTY years, that could affect his play calls on the close ones...we'll see.

Born and raised a Niners fan. I watched “the catch” on live TV with my dad as a kid. I’m stocked for the niners. They are a few plays away from being undefeated. They had some significant injuries and still came away with some big wins. They had the statistical most challenging season ever especially when they had to play all those playoff teams with good records so late in the season. I just don’t want to deal with the mass of people if there’s a parade in SF on a weeks day and I have to get into work.

Looking forward to a good game. I'll be holding my brand new grandson in one hand, eating some great KC BBQ in the other hand watching the game. Go Chiefs.
