Well, this year has been rough for everyone but it's looking up for our family. Wife and I are in the process of buying a small farm in Kentucky and discharging from the Army. As much as we love Alaska, it's been our dream to have a little farm and we already have three horses down at Ft Bragg to tend to again. I had the good fortune to catch 46 salmon dipnetting on the Copper River again this year, and as usual we smoked a third of it. Between that and the 7 halibut I caught with my wife's grandfather in Kodiak, we are set on fish for the year. With this in mind, a little Karma goes a long way and we have a lot of stuff in motion for us right now.

What's up for grabs? 6 jars of delicious Copper River Red smoked salmon. These are brined, cold smoked, then jarred and sealed in my step-moms secret recipe. Great on a cracker, salad, or mixed with cream cheese for an awesome dip.

Rules- Anyone who is a member as of this post here is welcome to enter, former winners as well. (I had a hiccough last karma with being sent on a last minute field exercise with another unit and I was delayed in getting them out the door, not the case for this karma thankfully!)

There will be 6 winners again, to be chosen by the karmanator. My oldest son's second birthday is this sunday, so I'll draw winners at 5pm Alaska time in celebration!

Some of the fishing highlights so far this summer.

and the birthday boy on his grandfather's commercial fishing boat off Kodiak!

First of all thank you for your service. Hopefully the transition to Kentucky goes well.

I am very jealous of your fishing opportunities and hope to one day get to fish on the Copper River.

Please enter me for the very generous Karma.
