Get my pies outta the oven! |
I stopped by Costco today on my way home from work and picked up a three pack of spare ribs for Monday. Paid $36 total for a nice big pack of St. Louis trimmed spare ribs, I was actually surprised as I was fully expecting to pay easily $50 or $60 for them. $3.69/lb I recall. Looked up an old text from this time last year and saw that I’d paid $55 last year for the same thing right around the same time!

Nice. I’m due for a trip. Freezer is low. I usually grab a few briskets, ribs and pork bellies oh and wings. These go to eleven.

Just had some the other day, but no reason not to stock up. Thanks for the heads up! _____________________________________________________________________ “One of the common failings among honorable people is a failure to appreciate how thoroughly dishonorable some other people can be, and how dangerous it is to trust them.” – Thomas Sowell

Sweet! Our local Kroger had bone in pork butt shoulder roasts for .99 lb and I made a batch of pulled pork today. Did it the lazy way in a slow cooker but I made the sauce myself. Pretty tasty and it always gets a little better with some age. Let the flavors marry as my old granny used to say. ________________________ God spelled backwards is dog

Brisket was $3.79 per pound today at Costco. It was choice, but good price. I’m also smoking ribs Monday. Sunday smoking a Wagyu brisket for a friend. P226 9mm CT Springfield custom 1911 hardball Glock 21 Les Baer Special Tactical AR-15
