BTW – That five-page thread has exactly two photos of member-made toast. Both of them mine, made in my Breville Smart Grill. Repeated here:

We have a Cuisinart, but bought the 4 slice model (I want two pieces and MRS SS1 wants two pieces of whatever we are toasting-why do one set and let it get cold waiting on the second set?).

We've had it 3-4 years and, much to our surprise, it's been absolutely perfect.

It's probably the fourth or fifth machine for toasting we've had in the years we've been married and it is the first one that has worked properly.

I am using a 50+ year old Sunbeam T35 radiant automatic toaster that we bought an an antique store 30 something years ago. It's beautiful chrome workhorse.

Decided to take a couple quick cellphone snaps of my decades old well worn Kenmore European Toaster Model 238-48339 that as previously said continues to serve us well.
Slots are 10" long and 1.7" wide. Button controls on top are Cancel, Reheat, Frozen. No dedicated bagel mode. The sliding activation handle also has an extra lift feature. Crumb tray removal is on the left side of the toaster.

Looking around at what's available in the dual long slot designs, I see the Zwilling Enfinigy Cool Touch 2 Long Slot Toaster but it's one no one here has commented on in either thread.

I too am in need of a toaster and came across this. Very expensive but it is literally the only conventional toaster I could find not made in china. Trying to buy direct from the manufacturer to get my preferred color but there is no indication of voltage on their site so I emailed them Friday evening to be sure I'm getting a 120V unit.
