Doesn't it also strike you that the left is acting like a small child in that they will scream, yell, and even resort to violence to get their way, and then seem absolutely terrified/shocked when a parent puts them in their place. You're absolutely right in that the majority is getting close to being done, once and for all, will the antics of this filth, and the push back is likely going to be extreme and aw inspiring for most of these adult children. I agree with Para that you can just feel it in the air. It's familiar to me, and not in a good way. What holds back a real outbreak of violence- I think-- is that we are intermingled, and there is no way to identify who is who-- Trump supporters or these violent Leftists. Rallies, "protests," are potential flashpoints, but they would not amount to ongoing violence. We'll see. What bothers me is that when I'm on a trip and on an overnight in Anytown, USA, I'm TOTALLY defenseless. I have to depend on local LE to assist me if something were to go down, even if it were a case of being innocently caught in the cross-fire. Having said that, about all I do in the overnight cities is find a decent place for some decent food and friggin' sleep. I don't have the time nor the energy to get wrapped up in some protest activity that would get me fired anyway, seeing how I'm considered to be "on duty" and therefore representing the company during my entire trip. I do the same, and not because of the law. If I'm having a drink I won't be armed. I've wrestled with this one and still do, regardless of the law. I hate being unarmed and as a result choose not to drink more often than not these days. Out here behind enemy lines, it's amazing when you're able to over-hear idle chit-chat, among leftists. The blind hate and ironic double-standard that many of the leftist adherents spout is remarkable. I don't agree with all of Sam Harris but, his talk here nails it. Smart, thoughtful and well developed response to the anarchy we're seeing. | |||
