ryan81986Jesus Revolution part 2? The spiritual revival in the wake of the death of Charlie Kirk
I have seen a couple videos now of former atheists talking about how they have turned to Christ either from hearing/speaking to Charlie Kirk or seeing his videos in the wake of his murder. These stories appear to be popping up more and more and it seems like a new spiritual revival has begun. What do you all think?

rat2306I'm seeing videos on YT and Rumble with titles pretty close to that as the subject. Consensus seems to be that one voice was silenced, but many more will begin to speak out from the throng of the generation who followed him.

I can say for me that is true. I have watching his reels for years. But I had noticed in the last 2 months that he talked about religion a lot more. Even debating Athiests and Satanists. Made me want to do better as a Christian. Then he was killed and it solidified the belief that I havent been living as I should ahve been.. I know I am not alone in this

No, sir. You are not.
I’m right there with you.

ibandaI've also seen some videos about parishioners looking for a new church when the priest had negative/ woke things to say about Charlie.
My general thought about the Twitter mob when they get stirred up is that they have the attention span of a gnat and they move on to a new topic in 3 days. That is not the case for Christians and conservatives, they have long held beliefs and are speaking up. There areca lot of people waking up and joining.

hberttmankThe preacher at the service tonight said that church attendance nationwide was up 25% last week. Don't know if that is correct but still more people finding God is a good thing.

We British Christians would get excited when, once a year, Queen Elizabeth would make a mild but sincere reference to the love of Jesus Christ in her Christmas address.
In Charlie Kirks' Memorial service, watched by tens of millions, I just heard:
- Multiple clear presentations of the gospel from men like @robmccoyus and @DrFrankTurek with clear calls to repentance and faith
- Worship songs full of Scripture sung by tens of thousands live and millions at home
- Personal testimonies of lives transformed by the work of Christ and the witness of believers
- Demonstration and explanation of the value of marriage, child-rearing and family
- Calls to Romans 13 for the government to bear the sword for the protection of good and punishment of the wicked
- Declarations of spiritual warfare on the forces of evil and promises to endure no matter the cost
- Calls to be prophets and call the nation to repent
- More Scripture references and Bible readings than I can count
- And a widow publicly forgiving her husband's killer because Christ forgave his killers on the cross.
All of it done before, and by, the most powerful people in your nation and the world.
You guys should be on your knees thanking God for your country. It is a light to the world.

On Nextdoor, there has been a noticeable number of posts in the same period asking for church recommendations.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

gearhoundsIt’s not just based in/on religion. Young people seem to be en-masse embracing moral behavior whether religious or not. My son just started at WVU where his sister just graduated from this past spring. The on campus mentality seems to be shifting from leftism to a more conservative tone. Charlie was well loved and respected by today’s youth and the left has grossly overestimated its support from them nationally.

And I'm hearing from podcasting folks that the sales of Bibles are up 25%. I'm helping with that; ordered two this weekend to replace small Bibles with not-so-friendly to read type and fonts.

PASigLat week our church was doing baptism services but our head Pastor said he was going to do a sermon about the Charlie Kirk murder the following week.
We showed up for the 8:30 am service which always tends to be a little lighter than the 10:30 service and the place was completely MOBBED. Ended up having to park in an overflow lot across the street from the church and barely got a seat in the back.
Our Pastor really did a great job with it and I was really relieved to not see him wimp out and play the whole "both sides are to blame" thing trying to play it down the middle. The sermon was well done and well received and I only saw one guy that looked like he was getting agitated and we security were watching him closely. I wasn't on duty officially but was asked to get a radio and earpiece on when I arrived just to be an extra to the 3-man team.

xd45manI hope many people felt their heart being turned from stone into flesh. I knew it when it happened to me in my kitchen. I was alone, and it hit me like a jolt and I began crying because I felt so much love and joy. I hope many many people feel what I felt that day.
Ezekiel 36:26 (KJV) A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

patwI hope and pray it is lasting and not like Jesus spoke about in Matthew 13. I hope and pray this nation will turn around and repent to Jesus/God and turn from our evil ways before it is too late.
God does not work on our time table and it is written in Revelation that this world is not long for it's future. When the "Time of the Gentiles" is over, it is going to be bad.
