Before the verdict was read, the judge called at the attorneys into

The jury returned its verdict Thursday, a day after the judge excused on panel member who made comments about Brown and “higher beings.”

That juror was replaced by an alternate, and the jury had to start its deliberations over again Wednesday morning.

Brown’s trial was briefly halted last week during her after she broke down under cross-examination by a prosecutor asking her about cash taken from a charity for poor kids that was deposited into her personal bank account.

“They're trying to destroy my life,” Brown shouted as jurors in Jacksonville filed out of the courtroom for a break after she cried on the stand.

Brown managed to finish her testimony, and both sides rested their cases.

The jury heard closing arguments on Monday.

I wonder who she pissed off so badly that she, a genetically predisposed high dermal eumelanin content female Democratic career politician from a gerrymandered district was not only indicted, but convicted of tax fraud. Time and time again similar individuals skated on such charges.

Someone decided she really deserved to be made an example out of.

Could be someone who wanted that job, a competitor in her own party, the district is gerrymandered so it's always going to be D...

or a pissed of contributor/employee of the foundation that found the irregular handling of funds....

perhaps a disgruntled campaign worker.
