I have used the CBD cream for my knee on occasion, and I would swear it works.

However, the big thing for me was when I go to get a massage. I have had a monthly membership for years. About a year ago, they started offering massage with CBD oil. The relaxation I get with CBD oil vs. other oil is not even close. It is so much deeper and lasts through the rest of the day and into my sleep that night.

For me, it works.

My wife takes a medication that makes her hands shake as if she has Parkinson's. She was prescribed CBD oil and it helps control the shaking.

I have taken CBD for stress and it helped.

I was told that CBD would help with the neuropathy in my feet. Tried it for a month to no avail. It was the worst tasting thing that I have ever put in my mouth bar none. Don't miss it one bit.

In my line of work we have DOT random drug testing.
One of my coworkers tested hot for THC, it isn't even a THC or not, but a certain percentage of THC in urine.
He had been taking CDB for whatever and it triggered a positive on his piss test.
He had to explain, and prove, to the company what was going on.
A positive drug test usually results in mandatory rehab, if it happens again termination...

I wish I could try it for my arthritic shoulders and knees, but nope...
At least that's what he says. It should be super easy to prove base on the percentages that showed up in his urine.

Have they come up with a way to deal with the "grapefruit" interaction with other drugs?

I spoke with a toxicology expert who is a trained chemist and does drug testing for a living. If you take CBD oil in any form you most likely test POSITIVE for THC. CBD while legal is not regulated by the FDA. Different labs use different techniques to measure and the cutoff values differ by industry.

It will be up to you to explain the positive results and you can expect possibly termination or if you are lucky a further evaluation by an addiction specialist.

I took it for a couple of months to help me sleep and it 100% worked. Helped with both my chronic pain and making me tired/able to fall asleep. I only stopped because it's slightly expensive and the websites won't take my damn card to get more(they seem to use the same 3rd party card vendor). If you're curious about it, just try it and see for yourself.

The one thing I was told to check for was a certificate of analysis from a 3rd party source. Of course I don't know what the hell to look for in the certificate.

Everything you say is true. So if you're in a position that requires testing for THC, avoid it. Probably poppy seed bagels as well although they may have some method to filter that out these days.

Consider though, 11 states fully allow cabanas sales and a bunch of others allow medical marijuana sales which is every easy to obtain. In the next 5 years it will probably be fully legal and regulated much like alcohol. I suppose your employer could still require you to be THC free, but once it's legal, that will surely be challenged.

This is the formula we submitted to the FDA:

The Brand is called AK47 with the "7" being a superscript (which can't be done on this platform)
Think AK4 to the 7th power

7 key terpene/cannabanoids in a break through CBD Compound

1. Humulene- An anti-inflammatory and anti-pain compound.
2. Myrcene- Sedative Effects (Sleep Aid), Analgesic Effects (Pain Relief), Anti-Inflammatory (Inflammation)Effects, Antimutagenic (Immune strengthening) Effects.
3. Organic Hemp Oil- Fatty Acids- health benefits- reducing pain, soothing anxiety, depression, improving mood, inflammatory arthritis, balancing the metabolism, healing the skin. protecting the immune system, aiding sleep among others.
4. Drug active Menthol - For aches and pains
5. Caryopholene-Activates the endocannabanoid receptors
6. Linalool- sedative effects at the Central Nervous System, stress, anxiety and depression
7. Together Broad Spectrum Hemp CBD containing multiple cannanbanoids CBD, CBG,CBC & CBN, thus creating the Full Spectrum CBD Entourage effect.

This unique Formula of Dutch bio-engineered strand resulted in the highest strength cannabis ever created. These terpenes and cannabinoids
are what is used in our new blend. (Less the THC)
It created the maximum Entourage effect.

The product is made in a FDA Registered facility unlike many blended in someone's kitchen.

We are patent pending and trademark registered.

By the way, every single brand mentioned in this thread are NOT FDA registered, not one them....Where or how was it made or what's actually in it? Who knows?

Downtownv forgive my skepticism but I’m curious. Are you saying the product has had clinical trials to be approved as drug for treating the issues you listed? There was an IND and now an NDA? FDA registration is often used as a misleading term because it does not indicate endorsement by FDA.

I believe the FDA registration downtownv is talking about, is an FDA sign off that the facility is given the stamp of approval by the FDA.

Nope, not at all. That is why I don't trust companies making these types of statements. Any company can register with FDA (ETA: when I say any company I mean those listed as required by FDA, in this case being a dietary supplement) and it does give a bit of credence that they aren't just a guy in his garage. But it has absolutely nothing to do with "Approval". The word approval is very specific.

In an earlier post Downtownv mentioned new regs regarding "dietary supplements". This is important to be noted. I'm willing to bet that any product claim he has on his CBD has the statement similar to "These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease.".

When you see those statements it is often a clear indication that the product is snake oil.

These go to eleven.

No, althogh i was involved in clinicals, they are not what the FDA registation is about.

Beans: I believe the FDA registration downtownv is talking about, is an FDA sign off that the facility (Proper sandards were used in making of a product) AND The verification of the contents is given the stamp of approval by the FDA.

Aprroval is not the word they use: either it is accepted and registered or it is denied

Also Testing essays must be much more in depth than the reports people have posted.
Like not only what is in it, but maybe. more important, what is NOT in it!
Our Hospital studies showed some very bad things in way too many tested, like Petroleum particles (farm Equipment used in the hemp harvesting, never found in hand cultivated, organic hemp) Molds, insecticides, mercury (from contaminated soils) and pesticides

In fairness to all: FDA is currently NOT mandated, but if your product is what you say it is, why wouldn't they register it?

I don't want to hijack the OP's thread but I am always available via email or hell, the phone.
