Hello, If this note isn't appropriate please remove. It's just that I'm so impressed and would like to share my experiences. For years , I have been using the Laserlyte for dry firing and it's also useful for bore sighting. This little laser is the same size as a particular cartridge ( mine is 9mm) and the switch is momentary and is located where the primer would be on ammo. Every time the firing pin strikes the rear of the laser, there is a momentary flash of laser. It tells you exactly where the gun was pointed when you pulled the trigger. It accurately predicts where the bullet would have hit. It adds a whole new level to dry firing and is very helpful to both novices and experienced. Well mine had been used so much that I was wearing out the switch. It was way older than the 3 year warranty. I emailed the manufacturer to find out if there was a cheap way to repair this switch. I made it obvious that it was not covered by the warranty . They very cheerfully sent me a new switch as well as batteries for this old laser....for free !! I'm very impressed by such customer service ! There are other , cheaper versions of this laser out there ....but for me, I'll stick with and recommend the Laserlyte. ( I just bought a second laser as gift). | ||
