I want to get one of the glass chair mats for my office. The plastic ones just get bent and get divots in them.

Anyone have one? Thoughts? Are they are too smooth? I worry about the chair moving around a lot on such a smooth surface

I had one in a prior office, liked it. Once you get used to not pushing hard to move it was a nice gentle glide.

That was on carpet. I'm not sure if they even make them smooth on both sides for hardwood/LVP flooring. I'd think in that environment it could be slippy.

I have a Vitrazza and have been quite satisfied with it. It stays in place and I've not experienced any unwanted movement of my chair yet it moves easily with very slight input by pushing away with either arms or feet.

I bought a extra thick plastic one off amazon to go on the carpet in my office. It held up WAY better than the flexi plastic ones you see in most office buildings.

Glass all the way, I got tired of replacing the plastic ones.
Plus, I also use roller-blade chair wheels, super smooth when swapping around L shaped desk surfaces. Wink

Was going to suggest this as well.
The few I've tried with them, they roll so much easier/smoother than the typical office chair wheels.

I've had them for several years to protect LVP. They are fantastic.
