Edit to add...my #1 and #2 favorite outdoor/camping knives are a Victorinox Swiss Army knife and a Morakniv (the Morakniv is made in Sweden) and an Opinel folder from France a very close third ...all affordable and useful

PS: I've always been partial to Wenger (now owned by Victorinox). Last century, the Swiss sweared by Wenger while leaving Victorinox for the tourists and foreign markets.

I was stationed in Germany (courtesy of Uncle Sam). I was in Bern Switzerland on a trip, walked into a local hardware store and purchased my Swiss Army knife. I still have it.
