I skipped on buying some Acqua di Parma last time I was in Italy, because I would have had to check a bag to get it home. It was expensive enough as it was. That started a conversation with my wife.

I have given up on expensive colognes and have been trying some of the older "classics" like Bay Rum (not great), Brut, and have found some other cheap ones that are really quite good. For less than $15, Agua Brava is excellent, as is Pino Silvestre.

Does anyone have any other recommendations? Agua Brava and Pino Silvestre last all day, and are quite manly, for lack of a better term.

Not that cheap, but one that has certainly gotten much cheaper is an old favorite PS (Paul Sebastian).

It can be found in regular stores now around $25ish.

It is like a deluxe, refined Old Spice that lasts.

I like and I've always received compliments on Bora Bora. You can usually get it for ~$15 a bottle.

"The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford, "it is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards."
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

I use this one too. As well as the original hugo boss and lagerfeld. Like the PS they are not cheap, but no where near they money for the new scents. Typically about half the cost.

I dont wear inexpensive colognes, but when on vacation, I dont bring cologne. I will use Dove body spray - which smells good, lasts & is only like $7 a bottle.

We used to splash in on before going on a date after rebuilding a motor.

I've had women HIGHLY suggest Grey Flannel (available on Amazon). I'd suggest Polo, but it would appear it has become STUPID expensive... Eek

One of the guys who has breakfast with us on occasion wears a shitload of some kind of stinkum. It makes my eyes water. It even very nearly overpowers another attendee’s sour coffee and cigarette breath.

I usually buy the Polo 3 pack,(Black,Blue and Red), on occasion and it seems to last a good long time. It is only about $50.00. I get many compliments on the Polo Black. I also buy Nautica-different versions and they seem to last and blend well.

I like Stetson. Got a bottle from one of the grad kids a couple of Christmas' ago. Pretty cheap as these things go and has a nice smell that's not overly sweet.

Both Stetson and Aspen are inexpensive and inoffensive.

If you can get a 3 pack of polo for 50 bucks do it.

Go to TJ Max or Marshall’s- they carry brand name colognes at really good prices. I’m partial to Halston and they carry Z-14 and 1-12 frequently at about $6-10 for a 3.4 oz bottle

I like Stetson and Red.
