wrightdArmy is evaluating a new innovative multibarrel “ribbon” gun
It wouldn't be used, supplying ammo would be too expensive to be practical. If 98%+ of small arms fire in war fail to hit the intended target, multiply that cost times 5 for each pull of the trigger, and tell me how the Army is going to pay for that kind of inefficiency. The Army can't even provide enough 556 to their new soldiers in Basic Training for training on the M16.
