That is true of the Twin Cities metro area (Hennepin and Ramsey Counties) where over half the population lives. It it definitely not true of the district where this election took place or most of the remainder of the state.

Yep Trump lost Minnesota by less than 1% if I remember right. The Dems were really worried about this one and apparently for good reason. They started texting me nearly a month out from election day. Not sure how they got my cell phone number and I could tell it was a local number so it was one of their volunteers texting me.

So I assured them in response they could count on my vote for Mr Loury. Then a few days later another text asking if they could still count on my vote. I said of course. Then it started to get annoying. A few days later another text asking me the same thing. this time I responded "For the third time YES!! if you text me again I will change my vote to Republican now please remove me from your list!" I quickly got a response apologizing and telling me how important this election is and we need all the support blah blah blah.

So election day comes and I was like the third person to vote I was there when they opened because I was going fishing after leaving the polls. As I'm filling out my ballot my phone goes off, guess who reminding me it's election day. I took a pic of my ballot showing I voted Republican and sent it back to who ever it was along with the message "I thought I asked you to stay off my phone!" Not a peep since!
