Enjoy! I'm not Irish and a non-drinker, so won't be celebrating. I'll be happy to support those who do, though, as long as they keep it under control.

I'd eat it if it were on the menu, but I seldom see it. (I don't cook.)

You DO know that corned beef isn't really Irish, right? It's an American-Irish thing:

Ireland: Why We Have No Corned Beef & Cabbage Recipes

The Irish would be eating more like what we know as ham.

Meh, us Americans relate corned beef & cabbage to the Irish, like they do the hot dog to us. We're having Ruben sandwiches. Rye bread, corned beef, sauerkraut (although that's probably German, but still it's cabbage) and swiss cheese, under the broiler. I'll eat too much and have a restless night, but WTF, you go around once.

Men fight for liberty and win it with hard knocks. Their children, brought up easy, let it slip away again, poor fools. And their grandchildren are once more slaves.

Bought my annual 4 pack of Guinness the other day. Had 1 so far. Save 3 for tomorrow. 1 each for wife and I with dinner and 1 to pour in the crock pot with the corned beef.

On vacation this week. Maybe enjoy an Irish coffee in the AM with a whiskey. I think I have some Jameson around.

I like some Red Breast as well. Nice stuff. I enjoy St. Patrick’s Day. However, I was told since my bloodline goes back to Northern Ireland I don’t count as Irish. I don’t buy it but, oh well….
