Many thanks for the information. I have created a spreadsheet based on your inputs. Looking at Redfin and Zillow to check out the home prices at those neighborhoods.

What is the range you're looking to spend on buying a house? That may potentially cut my town list by half.

You said you're only going to be there 18 months? Why are you buying a house then?

Moving in 18 months at the earliest, not for 18 months. Checking the home prices just to get a feel of where and what we can afford.
