I paid someone on etsy to write our vows on a nice piece of handmade paper all fancy and then put it in a shadow box with our ceremony rings (they were wood and while we were assured that they'd stand up to regular wear it quickly became clear that mine would not so we replaced them for daily wear and now I wear a silicone band).

My S-I-L's first anniversary gift to her first husband was divorce papers. Second marriage has lasted since this guy isn't a cheater.

I went with flowers and a pencil drawing from a local artist, but some of yall have lovely ideas.

The trip would be great, but we have an infant, and travel is more complex than fun.

Really nice! Hope she loved it.

Just as an aside, kids fly for free under the age of two, you get to board first, and everyone’s generally pretty darn nice and helpful.
At least that was our experience. And we flew as many places as we could, starting right about when he turned 3 months.
He’s a seasoned traveler at this point, but now he cost$ a full extra fare.

My wife got me framed bible verses that were read at our wedding. They are hanging in our bedroom.
