As a wood guy I have a special place in my heart for anything wood. That is a great tribute to friends, they should be proud to display it!! Surly a lot of hours in that carving.

That looks great, he will be very pleased with it. What wood do you use? I follow a guy who is a wood carver and on the first step he will use a router to outline everything then chisel away everything else. Is that how you do it also?
