WSJ did the math on this. It is a losing propostion for the Government. There is a lot in that proposal that has not come to light. None of it good in my opinion.

Yeah, a bunch more IRS agents averaging $70k or so in pay & benefits. Between all of them likely average <$25k in new tax collections.
Think of all the ‘green energy & climate corps’ additions. I guess at some point we can all have a baseless Government job? As long as they unionize & vote left, the beast grows larger.

Gee, maybe they could look into why so many politicians seem to do so well financially on such modest salaries. Somehow I doubt that is how they will be used.
