The key, like many sales, is to price it right. Before I left Orlando for El Paso a few years ago, I put up my old Civic for sale. I wasn't taking the car with me and listed it for $500. Guy came over the next day with a truck and trailer, paid cash, I signed the title over and he went on his way.

There are plenty of regional groups on there. I'm sure there's a group for your city in addition to greater Orlando area groups.

I’ve used it but there’s one piece of information you may not know. If you create a Facebook profile and only use it for the Marketplace, they may take away your access to it until you start showing that you’re using more parts of the site. I had it happen to me and only got access back to the Marketplace after making a few posts and interacting with others.
