Found out there's a chance I may have to work election day because everybody else is going to be busy at the polls, so I stopped by the courthouse today and got it done. Took about 10 minutes.

CooksterYes, voted yesterday at the Lehigh County Government Center in Allentown, PA.
It was about a 40 minute wait to request and obtain my ‘absentee ballot’, with DL credentials required, and about 3 mins to complete the ballot, put it in the envelopes, sign it and turn it in.
I saw a gentleman out at lunch today who had a “Visitor” label on his shirt which they were giving to people after getting thru security at the gov’t center, and I said to him “Glad to see that you voted.”, and he replied something along the line of, “Yes, I wanted to get my vote in because I am hearing that there is going to be major power outages on election day.”

We’ll see!

sourdough44Just did today in WI, 1st day regular early in-person voting. I’m in a conservative area, actively was over double the usual number of voters. The lady said they had a line earlier.
Hopefully a sign of things to come, wake up from this nightmare.

arfmelPretty busy considering this is day 2 of early voting.
I waited in line behind only one person. But 50% of the booths were occupied by voters.

tatortoddI pulled in the early voting parking lot after work and was surprised it was only 25% full. Myself and the others didn't realize they had reduced hours week #1 of early voting and it's only 8 to 5. Next week is the 7 to 7 that I remember.

P-220Voted early last week.
Board of Elections was packed.
I have to compliment them on how well the traffic and number of voters was handled.

clipper1Voted today. Board of elections was a busy place with law enforcement directing heavy traffic for a while. But it was well staffed and was a quick in and out.

MikeinNCWent this afternoon. Took 30-35 min in line. They had 30 machines and it was quick. The ballot after being printed had a bar code and next to each was the person you voted for.
And the machines are not dominion.

NuclearI screwed up my mail in ballot over the weekend, so I had to go in person to get a replacement (if I waited for another to be sent to me, I might not get it postmarked by the deadline going back in). Turns out I had to fill it out on site, and I didn’t have all of my cheat sheets and had to recall some of it from memory. We have a crap ton of ballot initiatives and even more judges. So I voted yesterday.

egregoreIn-person early voted on the 22nd.
Of note: the voting machine is electronic, but there is a paper printout (not accessible to the voter) accompanying the machine, clearly visible through a window on the printer.

joel9507Third time's the charm. Been to the early-voting location two times before and the lines were ridiculous.
Finally picked a day (midweek) and time (mid-morning) without long lines!
