Our local newspaper, the Phila Inquirer is playing their usual BS games when a Dem goes down.
Roll Eyes

Where is this story on their website? Top, front and center BREAKING NEWS? Oh no siree. BURIED at the very bottom of the Politics section with the bland headline "New York AG Resigns", in the header or the story, NOT ONE MENTION that he's a Democrat. Had that been a Republican, you can be dammed sure it would be "REPUBLICAN AG RESIGNS" and you'd hear it 35 times in the first two paragraphs about his Republican Party membership.

I'm so sick of this biased crap, this paper is bleeding subscribers and eyeballs for this very reason.

Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has been aggressively attacking President Trump for some time.

http://www.breitbart.com/big-g...-called-brown-slave/

“Sometimes, he’d tell me to call him Master, and he’d slap me until I did,” Selvaratnam claimed. “He started calling me his ‘brown slave’ and demanding that I repeat that I was ‘his property.’”

Selvaratnam is an author and “progressive Democratic feminist” who was in a relationship with Schneiderman “from the summer of 2016 until the fall of 2017.”

Things only worsened after President Trump won the presidency

Selvaratnan says that he had counted on “forging an ambitious partnership with a White House led by Hillary Clinton.”

On the night before Trump’s inauguration, Schneiderman was forced to cancel a public appearance. “He told me that he’d been drinking the night before he fell down. He didn’t realize he’d cut himself, and got into bed, and when he woke up he was in a pool of blood,” Selvaratnam says.

“I was scared what he might do if I left him,” she claims. “He had said he would have to kill me if we broke up, on multiple occasions. He also told me he could have me followed and could tap my phone"

In August 2017, Politico reported in breathless excitement about the top cop in New York and his efforts in getting to the bottom of alleged Russian collusion with Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign:

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team is working with New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman on its investigation into Paul Manafort and his financial transactions, according to several people familiar with the matter.

The cooperation is the latest indication that the federal probe into President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman is intensifying. It also could potentially provide Mueller with additional leverage to get Manafort to cooperate in the larger investigation into Trump’s campaign, as Trump does not have pardon power over state crimes.

The two teams have shared evidence and talked frequently in recent weeks about a potential case, these people said. One of the people familiar with progress on the case said both Mueller’s and Schneiderman’s teams have collected evidence on financial crimes, including potential money laundering.

No decision has been made on where or whether to file charges. “Nothing is imminent,” said one of the people familiar with the case.

That shows how far they are willing to go to protect the agenda.

This may sound harsh, but perhaps the 'victims' were willing to put up with his behavior, hoping that their own political ambitions would be helped with a coat-tail / escalator ride up to the White House.

First paragrpah from a City Journal article:

New York State attorney general Eric Schneiderman has resigned, just hours after it was reported that he had been accused of violent assaults on women he had dated. These allegations, which include threats that Schneiderman made to stalk and kill the women if they told on him, came as a shock—except to anyone who has followed his career in politics. Schneiderman’s louche ethics have been well known. You didn’t need an “in” at Albany watering holes; just reading the newspapers would have told you plenty.
