Am looking for alternatives to the swiffer refill pads (for dusting, not washing) ... like recently did for the vacuum pack bags. Thanks !This message has been edited. Last edited by: old dino,

Get some cheapo cotton rags, wash and re-use. My house cleaner does that.

E-Cloth high performance dusting cloth. I use the yellow and green ones around the computer, electronics, guitars, etc.

A broom and a dust pan? A vacuum cleaner? A mop and a bucket?

Microfiber cloth and a spray bottle of your preferred floor cleaning solution.

I saw these on Amazon. I hope this helps. God Bless !!! https://a.co/d/dQbXcbi "Always legally conceal carry. At the right place and time, one person can make a positive difference."

Striker in waiting |
Stopped using Swiffer when we put LVP in the new house (because of residue - swiffer wet stuff isn’t awesome for LVP, apparently). Switched to Bona products. Using their pro series mop/sprayer and Mrs.BurtonRW LOVES it. Much better spray pattern and the microfiber pads do a better job and just go in the wash. -Rob I predict that there will be many suggestions and statements about the law made here, and some of them will be spectacularly wrong. - jhe888 A=A

You can buy washable microfiber pads made to fit the exact Swiffer dimensions at Amazon and other retailers. Or just get some generic microfiber pads and cut them to size. That's what I used back when I had a swiffer.

Glad to see guys up to snuff on housework. I don't think my father ever ran a vaccum. If he did I did not see it. I am familiar with the janitorial supplies mentioned by trapper as I have done custodial work in a factory. I even have a mop bucket in the garage. Comes in handy for the big jobs.

I've been doing housework since I was old enough to push a broom... My parents' expectation was that I did my share of cooking, cleaning, and laundry, even as a child (as my age/capabilities allowed). Plus, when you're single, if you don't clean than nothing gets cleaned. And I refuse to live in filth. Even when I was married, I did at least 50% of the housework.

We switched to Bona as well. Way better than Swiffer… especially on our wood floors. Wash/reuse pads are not only better all around, they do a much better job and just one gets the whole house. AND quicker (the bona setup is about 50% wider that the Swiffer. Dave _________________________ Those that say it can’t be done should not interrupt the people doing it!!!

I usually use an electric leaf blower, but the pool guy complained about the dog hair in the pool filter.

Have oak floors throughout the house, and good with mop pads for washing. Am looking for the Swiffer style pads for dusting everything above the floor.

Thank you Very little |
These are the bomb pick up everything, nothing is lifted back into the air and no residue from cheap ass sprays like mom used in the 70's. Be nice to find a substitute, right now we just get the mega size at Wally's, have to see if Costco/Sams has them...

From all my research, and suggestions here, you are right ! The best dusting cloth to use is Swiffer and the best price is from Costco. Thanks.

Damned if I don't have a bitch of a time putting the original Swifter dust pads on their handle, let alone the @#$%^! impossible double sided biggies on a Swifter extending arm handle. My son puts them on for me when he's here. Am I the only one? Certifiable member of the gun toting, septuagenarian, bucket list workin', crazed retiree, bald is beautiful club! They are a hassle, but when dusting things not the walls I just hold in my hand.
