Usually I'd use VLine in the trunk. But for the wife's car, I'm thinking about using a console safe (since the trunk isn't really lockable and need some place for semi-secure storage). Personally identifiable papers, wallet, etc as needed. VLine doesn't have anything that fits the console. Neither does console vault (only up to 2016 model year). Anybody have any experience with Lock'er Down? https://www.lockerdown.com/i-1....html?ref=category:3 "Wrong does not cease to be wrong because the majority share in it." I have a console vault but from my reading on the Toyota Tacoma forums Lockerdown is just as good. I have the 4 digit combo lock.

Lock’er Down console vault with a Simplex lock has been my standard in my last 2 trucks. Easy install, good fit, reliable. The cost is easily justified by my piece of mind, knowing the smash and grab thug isn’t walking away with easy pickings. "Prepared in mind and resources"
