Does anyone on here have one? I’m planning my next purchase. Gonna be a bit but I like to research early. No interest or need in a full size truck. Most I will tow is 1500-2000 lbs (Waverunner or small enclosed motorcycle trailer). I owned a first gen Ridgeline and have driven the newer generation extensively. Quite the fan of the new Honda as I am enamored with the drivetrain as My RS has a similar drivetrain, just more performance based. It offers rear torque vectoring (not brake based) so on pavement it’s something else. Great engine, transmission with shift points that are excellent when you have a heavy foot like I do. I just watched some early vids of the new Ranger and saw that the rear portion of the cab does not have a flat floor, which is a deal breaker for me as my dog crate will go there. The Honda offers a relatively flat floor back there (just a small seam/depression for the rear seat legs/rails) and rear vents with tri-zone climate so I can keep the k9 frost cold after a hard workout while up front I don’t have to freeze myself to death. I’m curious about the ZR2 in Diesel trim as I’ve owned a diesel motor before. Great for road trips as I can lock it while running with the AC on blast for a 5 minutes or less quick trip into a gas station or grocery store to grab something quick on the road, like ice, etc. I may be moving to a location with dirt/mid trails to get to a secluded beach and while the Ridgeline will handle light stuff just fine, the ZR2 is more capable off-road. Just curious to ownership experience, mileage, if you tow and what you tow, and any off road reviews. You-boob and the like, well I don’t know those folks. Thanks. What am I doing? I've got the Gas powered Canyon, I love it. I've not towed anything but it feel like just enough truck for my needs. little over 12k miles on it so far with no issues. I would have gotten the diesel if it wasn't such a premium. ___________________________ The point is, who will stop me?

I test drove a Colorado with the diesel in Z-71 trim. I was impressed with it, but just more comfortable in a full sized truck. Check one out, warning the floor in the rear of the cab is not flat. My daughter can deflate your daughter's soccer ball.

The guy that refellted my pool table has one. He says he gets close to 30 mpg with it. He also occasionally will pull a trailer with pool table relocation. He claims he cut his fuel bill by 50% , driving 40k yearly!

I just saw that in a review ![]() At least the rear seat backs fold down to create a flat area. I can deal with that. At least GM offers a diesel. What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone
