The slinky electric hatchback’s base MSRP has yet to be announced, but we expect it to start in the high-$200,000 to low-$300,000 range. The Celestiq will be hand-built, and customers will be able to customize their car to a large degree.

Typical pre release camouflage. Meant to hide the true lines or details.
Most test mules are outfitted with some sort.

MNSIG^^^^^
I'm a GM guy, but completely agree. For that kind of money it had better be pretty exotic or a genuine classic with a proven record of holding/increasing value.

True, although at one time many many moons ago, Cadillac was the epitome of custom luxury, anyone that was anyone bought a Cadillac, truly the standard of the world. then we decided that Foreign vehicles were the status symbol,
There was a time when we had a V16 Cadillac , a Duesenberg, Auburn, Marmon, great depression hit that market.
Would be nice to see some of that return to the USA...

I dunno. It's kinda of reminiscent of the Dodge Magnum, which I always thought was a pretty cool car.

1s1kI think it looks pretty cool but I like different cars. I couldn't be more bored with pickup trucks and SUV's.

I thought the Magnum was cool too, but it wasn't expensive at the time.
And HRK, the Cadillac's you're pointing to were not IMO cars, they were rolling pieces of art. Cars from that era were truly unique and 'special'. Very little built today is 'special', and next to nothing is worth $300k especially from a company like GM whose QC and workmanship is severely lacking.

Skull LeaderEven at $7 a gallon, you could buy a $100,000 car/truck with a 30 gallon tank and fill it up 952 times for that kind of coin.

Exactly the point I was making, at one time, craftsmanship, work of art, quality, at one time Cadillac did create them, You could say they continued it in the 50's and early 60's too
so it's not uncommon for Cadillac to be really good, and I'd like them to do so again, be interesting when they actually reveal it and it looks better.
Some of their concepts have been excellent designs, of course never making it to production..
If you'd like to see it unmasked in concept form, not really a bad looking design
