About this time 49 years ago I had just hit the top of the mountain in Boone NC. I had a two week early out and had left Ft Bragg about noon. Six inches of new snow faced me going down the mountain to Tennessee. After 3 years in the Army nothing was going to stop me & nothing did! I made it home for Christmas in spite of Viet Nam & the snow.

I too received an early out in November of 68

charlie1245 years ago I was at Ft. Polk not knowing if I was headed to Vietnam. They sent me to West Germany.

parrotdog45 yers ago we were in the middle Linebacker II...the NVA were pissed and we were dancing because we were taking it to them. Nixon backed off on the 29th and we never hit them that hard again. I was an Army medic but the Air Force were my best friends on those nights
