The first thought that came to mind.

The second was that the last three judges that let him out should face severe consequences.

Turning him loose on the with a bottle of gasoline and a lighter would probably be beyond the pale, but maybe disbarring them, confiscating all of their assets, and giving the to Bethany, if she survives, might be a start.

My daughter is heading out into the world soon. She doesn't drive, has never taken any self defense, and my heart breaks when these stories come out.
