You think she gives a fuck about you? Would she be lamenting such a diagnosis for anyone here? 'snip'
Nope and nope. And it doesn't matter. It's not about her, it's about me. When she dies she dies. She is not a friend to me, the Republic or humanity. But I choose not to put more negative crap in my walking around ruck than I have to. I'm burdened enough without adding a grudge or ill wish that won't change anything.
Note that I'm not hoping for her miraculous remission, that's her problem, not mine.

I hope she has a doctor and treatment crew as competent as she is.
hopefully one of the new crop from UCLA that spends more time making rap videos than actually studying medicine

Rey HRHI don't wish cancer on anyone either but I can nod in acknowledging karma.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

NapoleonSoloThat is one cancer you do not survive. You need 10% of your pancreas living to stay in this world and that one kills it completely. No matter how much money you have and even billions, you are done. While I am not a doctor, as a Type 1 Diabetic, I have a better understanding of this organ than most. Say goodnight Gracie!
“Our actions may be impeded...
But there can be no impeding our intentions or our dispositions. Because we can accommodate and adapt. The mind adapts and converts to its own purposes the obstacle to our acting.
The impeding to action advances action.
What stands in the way becomes the way.”

This whole thread brings to mind that Mark Twain quote about not wishing death on anyone, but reading some obituaries with pleasure.
I’m trying to keep the negativity out of my life and not wish ill on anyone, but folks like her, maxipad waters, Tony Fauci, FJB, etc don’t make it easy.

Today, we have two Vietnams, side by side, North and South, exchanging and working. We may not agree with all that North Vietnam is doing, but they are living in peace. I would look for a better human rights record for North Vietnam, but they are living side by side."

some 400 years operating under a constitution that clearly defines what is constitutional and what is not.
