I am trying to log in to the Ruger forum, but it seems to be locked up. Can someone give me the email of the moderator?

I spend a lot more time here than there, but I have something Ruger related I would like to sell.

Try webmaster@rugerforum.com

Ask your question here though. Though this is SIGforum, many are well versed in all manufacturers.

There are two Ruger Forums, a .com, and a .net. The .com one seems to have frequent problems with being “disabled” for whatever reason. Like several times a day.

Good folks there, though.

Thanks for your help. I have been a member here many years and am always impressed with the collective knowledge.

I have a signed letters by Bill Ruger and another Ruger executive and am trying to sell them if they have any value.

Even when .com says it isn't working, if you log in it usually does.

It's old and tired.

It's working now. (wearing my moderator hat)

It won't let me log in. It says I have exceeded the number of tries.

Then you may be out for good if it makes you reset your password.. Or at least for a while. Registration is currently turned off and has been for a while. Dealing with a couple issues, the old version of chaptcha expiring being one of them. We're in a holding pattern while the future plans work themselves out.

I prefer ".com" to ".net" and love the place, but the owner's desire to self-fund it without member contributions or paid advertisers has certainly hamstrung it from both a capacity and upgraded software perspective.

I used to own that forum. Sounds like the owner is still running the old UBB software.

Carl Laco who had it for years ("Flatgate") sadly lost his battle with cancer this summer. Frown

Some time before that he'd turned it over to a friend/fellow Ruger collector.

Yes same software and borrowed server space. Push has finally come to shove and the time to change all that has come. But the what and how's are still being worked out.

I thought so, as well as the S&W forum. Haven't visited either of those in years.
