Speaking of hot dogs
Had the tires rotated on the "04" Le Saber today at Sam's club,

Another customer recommended the hot dogs,
so , for $1.50 for a dog and a rootbeer , I gave it a shot

It was 1/3 bigger than I thought it would be, and much tastier than average.

they switched from Nathan's brand to their own brand.

it was better than Portello's or ! Costco's.

give it a try , next time you are there

Mmmmmmm lips and assholes.

I would try it but I let my membership go, strictly a Costco man now

Ditto on BigSwede.

I'm not into the tube meats (in all its forms! Wink )

I also gave up my Sam's Club allegiance to Costco.

I had the '03 Lasabre'. Good runner. Easy to fix.

Jon Voight drove a similar car.

I will be looking into this "new" hot dog, thanks.

I'm not a member at either Sam's Club or Costco, but a coworker was and took me to Costco for dogs a few times. They were great!

I've never had a Sam's Club dog, as I too shop at Costco, but I like Costco's dog and a pop.

I loved Sam's Club hot dogs, but, unfortunately, I've also become a Costco only person. But not by choice!

We had a Sam's Club less than 3 miles from my house. I went at least once per week (some call it an obsession with paper towels,...others call it a love affair-- But I digress).

Our Sam's was great, never crowded, always able to find someone to help with products or questions. Just great. Great meat department, great snack bar, great tire & auto battery department, great clearance area.
But, sadly, they closed it. It was one of the 63 or so they closed a couple years ago.

The "never crowded" aspect was obviously the first reason why they closed. We also have a Costco about three miles way (but about two miles from the former Sam's location). I had to rejoin for some of our business supplies (had previously been a member for awhile when Costco first opened).
But I don't embrace Costco with the same fervor as our old Sam's Club. It's "OK", but it's somewhat of a chore to visit. Crowded with people. And many don't seem to be the southern conservative type that I grew up with...

I don't know about Sams, but I believe you don't have to be a Costco member to use the food court.

Bendable,

If you think a hot dog at Sam’s is better than Portillo’s, then your cheese has slipped of it’s cracker.

You haven’t had a hot dog until you’ve had a American Wagyu all beef tube steak from Snake River Farms. You won’t find better. Anyone I’ve served them to has since started buying them.

You do not have to be a Sams Club member, just go in and buy a dog and drink for $1.50 Smile

They dropped the membership requirement for food a few years ago.

I loved the Nathans hots dogs at Sams. Good way to cheat on the Paleo diet. Smile If they did switch hopefully they are as tasty.

Costco Dogs are good, not a Sams member anymore, either way a buck fiddy is a good deal for a dog and a drink.

I get the hot dog before I go in to shop; that way I don't have as much tendency to overload my cart in the grocery area.

I recall reading an Obit the other day. It was short. He was both a high school graduate AND a Sams Club member. Being the south, it was mentioned that he was also a Baptist.

I had been purchasing the Nathans 1/4 lb. hot dogs(wieners) @ Sam's to bring home for the grill. Last time I went to get some, they had been replaced with Sam's brand. I decided to give them a shot, and bought a package. I have not tried them yet, but likely will over this Labor Day weekend. Good to hear that they are tasty!!

Frankly (pun intended), I don't like Nathan's hot dogs. Hebrew National are OK. I usually buy Ball Park beef, bun length for my home use. If I'm ever in Sam's I'll try theirs.
