When I joined Sigforum about 8 years ago you were one of the first of the membership whose posts I started following regularly. Real Estate, your lovely French lady, Ham radio, general lawyer antics, and your heavy metal (brass) band, you always had something interesting to talk about. We had occasion to converse once in email. I don't remember the circumstances but I do remember that you were very kind.

Though only an imaginary(internet)friend, I consider you a friend nonetheless and myself better off for having known you.

Jim, so sorry to hear this. As others have noted you are very much a friend though we've never met. Your insight and wisdom are a constant draw for this forum and I know we are all better off for it.

No one could ever mistake you for anything other than a proud Texan, and in that light you have educated many of us on just what that means. I was so thankful when you were able to rejoin us some years ago.

Thank you for all that you've done and will undoubtedly continue do as you're able to.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

JALLEN, we've never spoken directly, but I have read your posts for the last 13 years. I don't remember the content of the first post of yours that I read, but I do remember the realization that there was true wisdom and that I should heed the words. You may not realize it, but you have made an impact in many people's lives through the wisdom you have shared here on sigforum. I can honestly say that the lessons I have learned from you has shaped my development as I grew from a very young man into an adult. I'm sorry that your health is failing, but I am grateful to have come across you on this little corner of the Web. God bless you and your family.

JALLEN wish I had the pleasure of knowing you personally. I have read many of your enjoyable posts. You will certainly be missed here on SF.
I do some driving part time for a non profit organization here in Michigan which involves doctors appointments with patients confined to wheel chairs. I assist them in getting from house to car and car to doctors office. Would be very happy to assist you if I was in your area. You are in my prayers.

JALLEN, I am sad to hear of the progression of your condition. But I also want you to know, as others have already said, that you have made a great impact on this forum and to me personally. I am not a huge contributor, but I do read this forum everyday. I very much enjoy and learn from your posts. They have helped me think of the issues in a more critical and clear manner, which I do appreciate.

You and your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers as the time goes by. We will all miss you, but you are still here with us now. So, we look forward to your posts for as long as you feel like posting. Please keep them coming, because we all still have a lot to learn.

I am relatively new here and do not post often but mostly read and learn from others on a plethora of topics.

I have not always agreed with all of your posts but even though I may not have agreed with all of them they have made me stop and think on many occasions.

Like many others have stated, I always clicked to see what you have either posted or responded to see what you have stated.

We have never spoken directly but I have learned a many a trivial thing from you.

You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I will continue to believe that you will be with us for many more years because there is many more trivial things I need to learn from you as I grow up.
