Very sad to read this JALLEN. Prayers for you and your family. You have added tremendously to the forum with your wit, wisdom, insight, knowledge, character, and expertise. I have great appreciation that a man of your high caliber has shared so much with us.

Jim, every time I refer to the copy of our Constitution that you sent me, I remember that I got it from you. It's one of those small tokens that take on a real meaning.

No sad words for now as I don't know, and you haven't said, what is next, or when. Just that I pray for the best, or the easiest, or the least painful, whatever is best.

You'll post when you can, I know, and we'll be here looking for you.

And thank you for telling us what's going on. I'm sure it's difficult to share.

I worked for a Hospice organization for about 5 years.
You are in good hands. Hospice care providers are something special.

JAllen, sorry to hear that it is time for this stage of care, but it is a comfort to know that you are in good hands as hospice workers are among the finest of us and will take excellent care to make you comfortable.
