Rachel Dolezal hit with felony theft charge in welfare fraud case

I just wonder if she lost her job and is getting prosecuted for welfare fraud, because they found out she was white?
Was it okay had she been black?

I have a white friend whose husband left her one day. Went out for cigarettes and never came home. Went and lived with another woman who he eventually ended up marrying. He's white, too. Refused to pay child support so he lived off the 2nd wife. Left my friend with twin boys who were less than a year old and daughter who was 2 years old.
She went and applied for welfare. Got denied. This is in the Chicagoland area. They wouldn't even help her there. Her impression was because she's white and everyone there was black. It wouldn't surprise me if they refused to help her because she's white.
She's doing better than ever now. Both boys just finished their freshman year in college and her daughter is a supervisor at a restaurant.

years ago, like 30, my mother took my Grandmother to the Social Services office to inquire about benefits,
my Grandmother was a farmers wife, as in no job as far as the gov't was concerned, and living off what little she got from SS after my Grandfather had passed,
after considerable paperwork, bs, and a couple more trips, she was approved,
$18 a month in stamps,
needless to say, she passed,
meanwhile her non white farmer neighbors were filling up the car every month in stamp supplied food

If you look at the images of Rachel, in the above link, it is obvious that her hairline has receded at least 1.5" since she was young. I wonder if some sort of afro treatment is causing this?
Reminds me of the book "Black like me" where a writer in the 1960's went undercover in the south to experience racism first hand. I think this all boils down to that she did not want to work and produce for a living. She wanted to be paid for advancing a cause. The lowest hanging fruit on that tree is a now protected subset of the population. Being a woman wasn't enough for her. She had to be a minority woman. The minority she chose is the easiest to imitate. With the right bona fides, no one would question her for fear of offending a protected minority. Note that it took her parents disclosure to lift the cloak she created. She did all of this to establish a revenue stream and accumulate power/influence while profiting from SJW sanctimony....all while being white. Only Elizabeth Lie-awatha Warren has been a more effective imposter.

"I think that this is a fair resolution of the case," her attorney, Bevan Maxey, said Thursday. "I don't think it was Ms. Diallo's intent to defraud anyone."

This is actually the kind of resolution I would expect in this case, and I don't see any problem with it. It is different from Jussie's case in that there is an actual agreement in which the defendant takes responsibility, pays restitution and has a pretty good community service requirement. If she fails to comply with any of the terms of her deal, the charges can be reinstated.
This is very different from the deal given to Jussie, who did not have to admit responsibility, did not have to pay restitution and did not have to do any real community service. In addition, there was no nol prosse agreement, just a blanket dropping of charges.
