Seemed like the right place to post this nifty one from CNBC...

Gavin Newsom calls for national billionaires tax: ‘It’s time for an economic reset’

quote:
California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who is widely viewed as a 2028 presidential contender, on Friday called for a nationwide tax on billionaires as part of a broader agenda to usher in what he’s calling an “economic reset for America.”

I s'pose it's easy to attack the billionaires when you're worth "only" 30 million or so? Roll Eyes

Billionaire’s tax?….“More than 571,000 current and retired federal employees owe a combined $6.3 billion in back taxes”. Biden and company wanted 86,000 more ‘armed’ irs agents. Guess Newscum is trying to get attention away from his ol’ bitch wife’s tax problems.

Among those things in politics that confuses me greatly is the prospect of Gavin Newsome as a serious contender for the presidency. His hand on the wheel of California has steered the state well off the road such that a significant number of the state’s tax base has fled. Nothing that he pledged to fix has improved, in fact, from here everything looks worse. Why in God’s name would anyone want a fool like that leading this nation?!?

Sadly, there is a sizable segment of the population suffering from political mental illness that would do ANYTHING to counter Trump (and by extension, MAGA/MAHA)… including voting for people that are clearly in opposition to American ideals.

Exactly what I said about Bill Clinton and why I wanted him to win the primary, because I KNEW there was NO WAY he could get elected.

IMO, the primary reason he is in power is voter fraud. He is now term limited out as the governor, and I see no reason he would be appealing to most voters across the country. I suspect his political days are almost over, unless the Dems are able to steal elections all across the nation.

I suspect Newsom’s behavior is compensation for his knowledge that he’s deceiving. The hand motions are over the top but indicate how much legitimacy he needs to apply to his deceptions. I think when a person spends enough time in and around deceptions he becomes mentally ill. He no longer distinguishes fact from fiction. Fact is whatever is expedient at the moment. As Costanza once humorously said, “It’s not a lie, if you believe it” clearly it’s still a lie, but mental illness drives perception. Newsom is mentally compromised and uses devices like confident sign language gibberish to fabricate credibility. He should never have power nor influence again.

Moving isn’t good enough. The US taxes citizens and permanent residents on their worldwide income regardless of where they live. If you want to get away from US taxes you need to renounce your citizenship. I think one be better off making sure we elect someone sane rather than that scumbag.

Even worse, I said that about Biden in 2008 or 2012! He said the stupidest things. Racist, sexist, elitist. He blithely made his pedo proclivities known with apparently zero awareness of how disgusting it is. He revealed over his Senate tenure that he was not at all intelligent.

Bill Clinton and his wife are more than crooked, they’re evil, but he reacted to trends with political expediency. When the Gingrich et al made significant headway with the “Contract with America,” Clinton moved to the right backing things like welfare reform. Newsome shows no such self awareness and continues on the same stupid path he started on.

Newsome can't realistically move back to the middle and win a national political contest. Democrats will have to have actual primaries and get a moderate candidate past their crazies to have any chance in the general election. The progressive media is, of course, willing to lie but voters are on to them.

I truly believe this, as governor of CA, he is beyond damaged goods. He is also one of the most upfront, egregious liars in modern politics.
