No stickers, low profile, no vibe type of guy here, living in an oppressive State. I try to be observant and aware - my observations here indicate that most people, most of the time are none of those things.

I got nothing. I'm in Bay Area, California. I say nothing about my political views or social issues views.

I will confess I might be passive aggressive with regards to being PC at work.

From time to time at work, I would mutter loudly enough to be heard, "Too many dam ferners in here." My white co-worker friend would tell me, "Rey, you're the only one around here who could say that and get away with it."

One time, the same co-worker friend and another female co-worker friend was in the hallway talking about our IT support in India. My female co-worker was relating an incident where the IT guy would call her at 11 pm while she was taking a shower. It was about the third time, she kept relating how she was in the shower when she got the phone call that I put up my open hand in mid air to stop her, closed my eyes, tilted my head up a little, then after a few moments, with a satisfied smile told her she may continue.

The two got what I was doing (imagining her in the shower and she is easy on the eyes) and we all started laughing.

Yeah, I guess you could say I like to live dangerously in that respect.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." I do it to the point where it doesn't affect my daily. I also don't do gun stickers on my truck or wear gun shirts very often. I still wear black Danners and cargo pants every day. Some people think that's a giveaway. I don't.

Low profile here. Any stickers, etc., around here just translate to "rob me" to the local lowlifes. They watch for 2nd Amendment related stuff as a flag for guns to steal.

I'm very low key, I purchase shirts that larger than needed so I don't print plus no decals or other items on the truck. It simply is not worth the attention it might create.

My car has a magnet that says "I Love My Grandpuppy". That probably helps in terms of misdirection.

Everyone has their own approach and whatever it is - is fine with me.
I don't think you have to stick your head in the sand to enjoy the second amendment benefits either.
However, use common sense and MOST importantly have an awareness of your surrounding.

Personally, I have a Lifetime NRA sticker and Blue Lives Matter on my truck.
I will wear gun T shirts or hats.
I don't go "full camo" with no reason although I contemplated painting my truck in camo.
I am not afraid and do wear my Trump hat on occasion.
I don't open carry.
Proud of what I believe, doesn't make you a wannbe.

I think that where one lives is really important in this area. On the weekends, my wife and I do our shopping/hanging out etc... in the county south of us (Washington County PA). We see many vehicles with Pro 2A stickers, and see many individuals with gun logo or related type hats, shirts, etc...

The few (nowadays very few really) times that we drive into Pittsburgh, we don't see much if any of it.

In a few years we are planning on moving, my top priority for the final stretch of my life is to live in an area surrounded by like-minded individuals. Time will tell, we have a handful of years to finalize the details.

Where I think the low profile served me well was on a delivery in Philadelphia. Had to park in a delivery zone. Got a parking ticket. If you don’t recall, Philadelphia has some laws about concealed carry, like you can’t.

^^Phila tried to block CC, it was overturned a long time ago. You can NOT do open carry in Phila, though it is legal in PA.

Yup...low profile here. Only thing on both cars are Boston Bruins license plate frames and my Venza sports "Go See Ken", which is an advertisement for the guy from whom I bought my road bicycle.

I prefer to await the zombie apocalypse in stealth mode so they'll never know what hit 'em. Wink

I'm mostly low profile.

I grew up with a Dad in autobody who hated what bumper stickers did to vehicles' paint so I put zero bumper stickers of any type on my vehicles.

Nothing about me says rob me - no obvious signs of wealth or guns.
  • My vehicle is paid for and immaculate condition, but is neither a high-end brand nor has tens of thousands of aftermarket accessories on it.
  • I don't wear a fancy watch such as a Rolex. On the rare occasions I do wear a watch, it's a Citizen ecodrive but very few people would notice it's 100% titanium instead of stainless steel.
  • I don't wear designer clothing or tacticool clothing. Mainly Docker brand or their competitors for business, and mainly Duluth Trading for casual.
  • I don't leave anything visible in my vehicle that someone would smash a window to steal.

Only time I'm not low profile:
  • I'll wear shirts or hats with firearm logos to the range
  • Every month or two, I'll wear a bright red "Trump 2020 - Keep America Great" t-shirt on Saturdays. I live in an upscale, conservative part of Houston so never an ounce of problems.
