I didn't think of that option. I would prefer that too. I can't take his voice quality.

I can take him in small doses like when he was just starting his media career by being a segment guest on talk radio programs.

I think he copied his "going off the rails and foaming at the mouth" bit from Michael Savage who I think is a better and more innovative thinker. Too bad Michael blew his opportunity with TV.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

My issue is that when he abuses callers who (IMO) sometimes ask intelligent, pointed questions, it turns me off to him. He may be my intellectual superior (Lord knows, that bar is set low), but there is no need to be rude to callers who pay his bills.

Also, when he does that, he allows his emotion to override his counterpoint (or point), and then I lose out on the knowledge he was about to drop on me-instead getting a nasally, shrill voice that ascends to a scream. Counterproductive for a listener like me who simply would love to have more factual tools with which to be an apologist for the right.

I am glad that Levin is on our team, and he is a gun owner and a very strong 2A supporter, in the vein that the Founder's intended it to be.

It took him a while to get aboard the Trump train, but he apparently eventually found a seat to sit in (most of the time).

I'm glad the old blowhards are being phased out; Laura, Tucker etc are a breath of fresh air. Now it's time for Hannity to move on.

...and therefore, he's PERFECT for cable news. Wink
