Its cool and I am interested in one. Probably not as much as an issue in FL as it would be for me here in the Frozen North, but I would want to know how well the soft top holds up to snow and cold. And if the top is noisy or seals well.

I took her on a 4 hour trip today from Jacksonville to Panama City, FL. She did well and averaged about 16 MPG. We certainly don’t buy vehicles like this for the gas mileage Big Grin.

As far the wind noise is concerned, it is there but not nearly as bad as some make it to be. My wife and I were able to have normal conversation at highway speeds of 70-80 mph. She even said she would have no issues driving to the mountains in Tennessee. That is great endorsement indeed…lol.

I’m loving it so far. I definitely need side rails for the wife.

usncorpsman,

Can you open the top without having to unbuckle your seatbelt?

What about if you want to open it further? Do you have to get out?

Hello,

No.. you cannot open without taking off your seatbelt. You can have it open and back in seconds while inside the vehicle. To take it all the way back only takes a few mins. Remove the side and back window and down it goes. 10 mins and you can remove the entire frame and be completely topless.

Congrats, I hope it serves you well. I like that it is a V6, albeit a small one Wink

Actually you CAN open to the first position without taking off your seatbelt. Just undo the latches and once you hit about 25 mph or so it auto-opens Big Grin

No, I haven’t done this personally but several folks on the Bronco forums report this “undocumented feature”

Lol…..I am NOT willing to try this with my new $60k vehicle. Sounds cool though.
